![]() Roses are red, Violets just a color With out you all, my life would be so much duller Oh, Rahner Tantallion kids won't you be mine??? This Friday, February 14th, stop by my place at 4:30pm for some holiday treats. Because no one should shove their faces with chocolate alone on Valentine's day. Celebrate love! For ya roomies or your bf/gf. Everyone has a reason to feel loved this Valentines day. As we start to fill out applications for jobs, hear back from graduate programs, or think about graduation, it is important to reflect back on our time here at Loyola. What has made your four years so special? Was it the study abroad experience you were apart of? Was it meeting your best friends through club sports? Was it a certain teacher or department that helped you realize where you wanted to be after Loyola? Whatever it is, you ought to thank the Evergreen fund for those "Greyhound" moments. Did you know tuition only covers about 75% of operating costs of the University? The Evergreen fund helps to cover those extra costs through parent and alumnae donations. It is tradition that seniors participate in a campaign to give back to the University as well. This year we have decided to do a general donation to different organizations and sectors of the University that have help to mold our personal experiences. Our goal for the class of 2014 is 50% participation. You can help future Greyhounds by giving a gift of $20.14 today! Click below for more information.

See ya there! This February I challenge you to celebrate, eh hem - YOU! The beauty of our community is that we all have come from far and near. We celebrate different traditions and come from different backgrounds. Some of us are tall and some of us are small. What we share in common is that we all are great in our own way. Over the next few weeks, I challenge you to remember what makes you, YOU. While we celebrate ourselves - remember to celebrate each other. With the increasing parody accounts invading our social media, remember to keep in mind your peers. If you haven't seen it already, SGA has gone above and beyond with their response to these social media accounts. Check it out! |
